Utterly Disgraceful PPS

So this is one of the reasons why Singaporeans are deemed one of the most difficult customers to serve??

What a SHAME...

That was fast.....

I must have touched the nerve of the authority when I suggested on the papers to allow drama serials from both Hong Kong and Taiwan to be shown in dual-sound format.

Too bad, those folks at the top failed to realize that not all Singaporeans can afford subscription channels and dialect operas may not necessarily be everyone's cup of tea.

So the key point is not to compromise the "Speak Mandarin Campaign", well too bad for the youngsters in the future generation, who will have to depend on DVDs, VCDs, etc. to learn the tongue of their forefathers.

What a shame!

Finally... some soul-search

Saw this headlines on the papers days ago.

The first initial thought was,"Finally, the pressure from the public had knocked some sense to those budget air carriers."

Although, I never encountered those nagging issues encountered by my fellow travellers who went through the pains of last minute rescheduling, cancellation without prior notice etc., one can't help but feel would they be the next.

So it's not exaggerate to say "nothing is confirmed till the plane is taking off" when taking those no-frills carriers.

My first Budget flight experience saw me endured more than two hours of stiff back!!

Having said that I do, at times, ponder if the mindset of these budget carriers is being this - capitalize on the current financial uncertainty with passengers who are left with no other alternative and subject to these kind of shabby treatment for paid non-premium rate?

Since now this particular operator are ready to listen to those grouses and roll up their sleeves to get things done, let's we see some significant changes to be made in weeks to come.

If not significant improvement is made in times to come and with no sign of economy to recover fast, we, the travellers, would just have to bite the bullet and bear the grudge of it, as critics would simply discount this nothing more than a gimmick for entice some travelling perks.
