Not that long ago I read that if any visitor wants to buy a souvenir as a remembrance from Singapore, he or she should get a fortune kitten (pictured above).
My instant reaction is - WHAT A JOKE! and the person who made that suggestion must be crazy!
I mean as we all know this kind of fortune kitten is originated from Japan and it's being popularized by the locals in the recent years as a lucky charm or sort.
Whether it helps to bring fortune to its owner is not proven, but to suggest this gift as something associated with Singapore - is silly.
Anyway, this solar-powered fortune kitten was bought in Macau, so does that meant is a symbol of Macau instead of egg tarts?
