hate walking in Singapore
Just hate the idea of walking around Singapore.
Everyone seems to be on a rush to whatever it is.
To it to the bus, to the train, to the shortest taxi queue, you name and they will do it.
Along the way, you bound to be bumped or bumped onto someone, in return that either you being stared OR staring people (no wonder youth crime rate on the rise).
I think the worst of all are those hoggers along the way, who would pause for a moment to see where they are.
And have yourself being bumped on them when the sudden pause take place.
Wouldn't you mind plan your route before making your way to your destination to avoid those unnecessary BUMP!
Thank you...

I hate walking in some parts too but for opposite reasons!
ReplyDeleteEveryone seems to be strolling, ambling along as if next week will do when I actually simply want to get from A to B as soon as possible and get some exercise, nothing more than that....
Especially when there are two or more people walking together and blocking the way, completely oblivious to other pedestrians.
So, apart from agreeeing with you about those who pause or stop dead and hold you up, as I said, I totally disagree that people are in a hurry.
To me they are taking their own sweet time and it drives me mad!
haha
So much for a frentic society - to me everyone is about as laid back as they could possibly be! In a park that's fine but in a busy shopping street it's definitely NOT!
I'm more held up by people, rather than people bumping me because they are walking too fast. At times it's unbearable walking in a crowd at Orchard Road, when crawling would be much faster.
ReplyDeleteIn my opinion, walking in Little India is harder even than Orchard Road, try it on a Saturday night.
