Slave to sporting cable ...

I am not sure how many of you feel the same like I do?

But just couldn't help but feel a sense of helplessness after watching the Wimbledon Ladies' final at a pub outside, instead on the luxury of your couch at home?

Just to think more than a decade ago that live telecast of such major sporting events were readily available on terrestrial channels.

But now they are exclusively on the cable, much to the dismay of those who don't have cable subscription in their home.

That's the sad reality, folks...

the constant demand for such programs means that providers can ask for more $$$. if lesser people paid for such content, then soon they might be forced to reduce prices. but it's difficult for the demand to go down.

more and more people are catching sports online, but sometimes nothing beats the comfort and convenience of just switching on the tv to catch the match/game.
